Ashley Oboh

Ashley Oboh is the Audience and Marketing Lead for TEDxLakeheadU 2026, where she brings the TEDx experience to life through creative, strategic storytelling across digital platforms and beyond. She is a second-year Economics and Political Science student at Lakehead University and serves as the Outreach Coordinator for the Lakehead Law and Politics Club (LLP). Ashley is passionate about political economy and exploring pathways toward equity across nations of the Global South. Beyond academics, she enjoys reading, music, and independent research, and has experience as a freelance photo and video editor, particularly within pop culture and music spaces. Through her interdisciplinary interests and creative problem-solving approach, Ashley collaborates to amplify impactful ideas and embody the TEDx mission of ingenious storytelling.
